Brighton is one of the cities in the south of London that is popular for its huge number of tourists. The city receives tourists from different part of the world owing to the fact that it has numerous attra_ctions as well as activities that visitors can engage in. Moreover, it is informal in nature while at the same time relaxed. Brighton also has a vibrant nightclub scene and a number of restaurants that complete every visitor's experience.
Although I had for a long time desired to visit Brighton to experience its sights and sounds, I never got the chance owing to the nature of my job. Thus, when I was invited to design some new houses, I made the most the opportunity because not only was it a plus to my portfolio but also a chance to experience Brighton.
As expected, when I arrived in Brighton, the first priority on my agenda was to work on the project that entailed coming up with the entire interior design of the new houses. I first picked an English interior design theme. This meant that all the furniture, as well as other accessories that I worked with were reflective of this theme. I picked different colors for the various rooms based on their functionality. For instance, I settled for warm colors for the living room while the bedroom had colors that created a serene feel ideal for relaxing after a long day's work.
In terms of furniture selection, I opted for pine tables for the dining because they are quite good in blending into various interior design themes. These were perfectly complimented by equally classy chairs. For the bedrooms, custom wardrobes were a good choice because they bring in an element of uniqueness. Besides, they also fit perfectly and serve the intended purpose well without causing a strain on the available space. I also incorporated a farmhouse table for the study as well as narrow bedside cabinets that were also used for placing the bedside lamps. To crown it all, I introduced several accessories that included wall hangings that broke the monotony of having plain walls. I also brought in other accessories like lighting fixtures that ensures the rooms were well lit at night.
With all the work done, I proceeded to have some fun by exploring the beauty of Brighton. One of the places that I visited included the Royal Pavilion that gloriously stands at the centre of this city. This pavilion has a very rich history as it was initially a farmhouse that was used by Prince Regent before he became king. Other places that I visited include the palace pier, the lane and north Laines where I did some shopping and of course the beautiful beach where I spent some quality time before travelling back because I had other business engagements to attend to. In summary, Brighton is one of the best places that you can visit in London hence whenever you get a chance to travel you can consider going there.
