As your main goal, always be certain that they are quite happy on what they are doing.

You should also try to motivate them if they have the interest to pursue. If you can show them how well you dance, you will most likely convince them to take on the lessons as well. Be sure to provide them all the positive things about the class and never provide any information that is a lie. Mistakes are always there and even you, can get that as well, especially if you are presented with new information each and every time. Instead of being angry to them because they created something that is quite ridiculous, try to be more into the neutral state. Let them understand what went wrong and how they can correct it.

Also, you should make sure that you consider the schedule that you have. If you are truly hands on with your child, then this tip can be skipped. If you have a constrained time for your child, then maybe you should hire someone to do this on your behalf.

Finally, be budget conscious. Keep in mind that it is not necessary for you to give all the materials that your kid likes whenever they wanted it. Doing that can spoil them and will use that against you. Instead, let them decide what they want and support them instead.

Learning is a process that can take some time to remember and absorb, especially for children. But, you motivate and practice them a lot, then it should be a piece of cake.
