Coming up with funny gifts for my girlfriends next birthday is my goal. I never take the route of humor. I always buy her shoes or jewelry or something along those lines. She likes them but how many bracelets can I really buy and how many can she really wear at once? Plus she has a closet filled with shoes so it's seemingly a little redundant at this point to continue to buy something she already has several dozen pairs of. So this year I want to go with humor instead of tradition.
My next question quickly then becomes; what is funny? What could I possibly buy that is of good quality at a reasonable price and humorous enough to make her laugh or at least smile. I began my shopping at the best place I thought would carry something I would be looking for; Spencer's Gifts.
Obviously as anyone besides me probably knows; Spencer's was a bad idea. There was nothing even close to be worth it to buy. There was nothing available that wasn't too cheap and cheesy to be taken seriously funny at all. Spencer's was swiftly cut from the list of places to find good gifts. My next option was a place called Gadgets and Gizmos. Though their merchandise wasn't as cheesy as Spencer's I was still unable to select the right gift for what I wanted to present to my girlfriend. I was going to need to look somewhere else.
Like finding the remote in the last place you look I finally went home and found what I was looking for online. At I am a stuffed animal I found the right gift for the occasion. It was a high quality, well priced gift that I'm should she would love dearly. It occurred to me for a double surprise I could hide it under the covers or in the closet so she'll get it when she least expects it. It was without a doubt going to be a hit so I placed an order for it right away for quick delivery.
Picking the perfect gift for the situation can be impossible with no clear ideas in mind. When you're looking for a serious gift always go with the ring or jewelry but if you want something funny and lighthearted get a stuffed animal of yourself! It's a present she'll always remember.
