Some people thought that we'd never find a way to cure hangovers; that we would be forced to keep trying the not-so-proven methods of "curing" a hangover. First we sent a man to the moon, and now we've cured hangover symptoms! I'm a little skeptical that you will go completely symptom-free, but the product does not advertise that anyways.
I can't even tell you how many people have told me that they wished someone would just come out with a hangover cure already. What do you know? Someone actually does and now they're complaining. I guess it's really true that you can't make everyone satisfied.
There's a lot of supporters of the hangover pill and quite a few people that are against it as well, for obvious reasons. Yes, there is a possibility that some people might want to drink more than usual if they knew that they wouldn't have a hangover. However, a hangover isn't necessarily on people's "afriad of" lists when they've already had a few drinks.
I keep referring to Blowfish as a "Pill" when in all reality it's more like an Alka-Seltzer than any pill I've ever seen. To use it, simply drop a couple of the tabs in some water and the tabs will dissolve. So it really is more like an Alka-Seltzer than say a Tylenol or Ibuprofen.
Despite all of controversy surrounding a hangover cure; I'm really glad that they decided to come out with it. There are a ton of very bad symptoms that come along with having a hangover. The fact that they could make the morning after drinking better is great.
Even those that are against the idea of a pill to cure hangover symptoms would be able to agree that this is a product that is designed for use by adults. I think it's time we were treated like adults instead of people in those kinds of positions saying that we won't be able to handle ourselves with such a benefiting pill on the market. If we can suppress the negative effects of hangovers, then why not? It's far better than testing methods that may be harmful for us right?
