One of my absolutely favorite actors of all time is without a doubt Morgan Freeman. Morgan Freeman has been in so many amazing films that the man deserves a separate award from the Academy Awards. Not only has he been in such a high number of quality films, but most of the films he has been in are at the very least, enjoyable movies.
This article will highlight my favorite Morgan Freeman movies of all time.
One movie that without question makes the cut for any list of Morgan Freeman, Tim Robbins, or all time greatest movies would have to be The Shawshank Redemption. This is my personal number one film of all time and with good reason, it's a life -changing movie.
Another film starring Morgan Freeman which should be mentioned is Se7en. This film comes in at number 28 on the IMDB top 250 films of all time. Directed by David Fincher and also starring Brad Pitt, this 1995 psychological murder mystery thriller is one of Freeman's best.
I would be remiss not to include a movie in which Morgan Freeman stars as Luscious Fox in the Batman series. I personally liked The Dark Knight more than Batman Begins, but both of these movies are awesome.
Also worth mentioning as far as his films go is The Dark Knight. Director Christopher Nolan is on an absolute roll with his career right now, and fans can only wait to see what he brings us in the third installment of the Batman franchise.
One other film of this incredible actor's that I feel the need to include on this list is Unleashed, or Danny The Dog. This movie was directed by Danny Boyle, who also directed 28 Days Later, Sunshine, and of course, Slumdog Millionaire.
Hopefully there are several films on this list of Morgan Freeman films that you have yet to see, as they are all incredible movies that are worth seeing.
